Tavish Gunasena - Sri Lanka 

Tavish Gunasena (b. 1991, Colombo) is a Sri Lankan fine art and documentary photographer whose work examines people’s relationships with natural, built, and virtual environments, with a particular focus on Sri Lankan heritage, traditions, and South Asian identity. His photographs have been published and exhibited internationally, including at Pathshala in Dhaka, Maximum Exposure (Contact Festival) in Toronto, Rencontres d’Arles, and the Angkor Photo Festival. He was selected for Pathshala’s year-long mentorship programme New Waves of Documentary, Practice as Research in 2021.
