This space is built for photographers and artists who continue to work with film and vintage processes, keeping analogue alive.
Mount Studio—an incubator for experimental and reflective artistic practice—proudly presents the Analogue Film Developing Darkroom Lab, a dedicated space for hands-on photographic exploration, located within the creative environment of the Eastman Atelier.
Founded by artist and photographer Lojithan Ram, Mount Studio is a multi-functional art space, home to a working artist’s studio and personal archiving museum. While it once hosted a wide range of art programs, Mount Studio now focuses exclusively on photography and vintage printmaking workshops, held both in the studio and at external venues.
This new darkroom is more than a technical facility—it exists within the living energy of the artist’s studio, where artistic processes unfold daily. It’s a space where film photography is not just revived but deeply lived, offering a slower, more intentional approach to image-making.
Whether you are an experienced photographer or a curious beginner, this darkroom welcomes you to engage with analogue methods at your own pace.
